Grinding

Hone-All complete a small amount of surface grinding for clients but in order to ensure the services of a single source manufacturer, we have developed partnerships with two local grinding specialists who are both quality and cost aware. If a grinding operation cannot be completed in-house, we will always seek the prior approval of the customer to ensure their quality requirements are met.

Engraving

Component and material identification is becoming essential for most industries. In order to ensure that this requirement could be included within a unit price and did not require an increase in labour, time or cost to the customer, Hone-All invested in a NC Propen Dot Matrix Marking Machine. This ensures good quality marking and therefore identification and traceability to the highest possible standards.

Sawing

Hone-All offers automatic sawing capacity to a maximum of 10" diameter. This facility ensures that the customer does not have to pay the prices of the material supplier for billeting when forwarding free issue material. When advised of this situation, we include this cost in any unit price quoted to ensure that the customer has a fixed and known, single unit, cost.

 

Material Procurement

The enormous increase in transportation costs over recent years often affects the profitability of a job to the extent that sales can be won or lost based on the price differential. In order to minimise this risk, Hone-All offer the service of purchasing the material, billeting, facing and then producing the component to customer specification. This results in reducing cost, lead-time and administration for the customer. All materials are purchased with full certification and copies forwarded to the customer for their own quality records.

Nationwide Delivery

Our own transport service offers delivery and collection within a 200-mile radius. For contract or large batch work, Hone-All offers this service free of charge. However, we do also offer this service for smaller batches but for a token fee to cover costs. This service is essential for fragile components and ensures a greater degree of safety, quality and security for expensive or delicate components.
