The positions are full-time and permanent. Mon-Fri 8-5.  Holidays are 20 days + Bank Holidays.  

Salary level will be dependent on the level of experience and knowledge that the candidate can bring.

The ideal candidate will be - A positive, self motivated and fully experienced mechanical engineer with a thorough and extensive knowledge of machining a wide variety of materials including all steels and exotic alloys. Previous experience of deep hole boring or horizontal boring and / or turning would be a distinct advantage.

The duties of the role include - Responsibility for the safe, efficient and profitable setting and running of a wide variety of machines including implementing best practice, machinery maintenance and assisting with improvements to the process, tooling and all related equipment.

The idea candidate will be - A positive, self motivated and fully experienced mechanical engineer with a thorough and extensive knowledge of the gundrilling process, gundrilling machinery and all related tooling.    

The duties of the role include -  Responsibility for the safe, efficient and profitable running of the machines and the department including implementing best practice, machinery improvements and overhauls, recommending investment strategies and training junior and other personnel.
