Hone-All specialise in manufacturing high precision, tubular components by utilising the latest in deep hole boring, gun drilling, turning and honing technology.

With 9100, 9001 and a range of customer approvals including Rolls Royce, BAE, and Collins, we are the leaders in our field.

We provide a wide variety of industries with a complete service from sourcing raw materials to producing finished components up to 3 metres long.

All procedures are carried out within our own facilities ensuring we continuously improve controls over cost, quality, and lead times giving you the most competitive rates and a faster, more efficient service.

Our culture is one of a family business with the emphasis on approachability, teamwork, communication and co-operation, with an open policy on management and business strategy that invites the support of every member of the Hone-All team. This approach may not be right for every business but it works for us, not least because we believe in equipping our team with the skills they need to take more responsibility and then trust them to deliver.

We take our business personally and pride ourselves in ensuring that we achieve the best possible outcome for the customer regardless of what it takes. We are keen to share best practice at all times and have an open door policy for any visitors who wish to come and see what we’ve achieved. We ask only one thing in return – an honest and open view of what they’ve seen and how they would improve it further to ensure that we never stop trying to improve.

Meet The Team



Andrea Wilson


Andrea has been the driving force behind Hone-All’s success for almost 30 years. Her consistent vision for the business of “To be the best, not the biggest” has ensured the business has remained focused on customer service and excellence in every aspect of their operations.

During her time with the business, she has also worked to improve the awareness, recognition, and image of the industry within the UK and has been active in influencing the Government’s approach and focus to ensure long term manufacturing strategic planning and success.

Activities have included membership of the EEDA Manufacturing Panel, the Automotive Academy Steering Committee, the NSAM / SEMTA skills Council for the Eastern region and the MTA Training & Education Committee.

She was Chair of the Make UK Eastern Regional Advisory Board for over 10 years and still sits on the Make UK National Membership Board. She has also recently been appointed as an NED for SEMLEP.

Colin Rodney

Managing Director

Colin has been the founding father and technical expert at Hone-All for over 40 years. His wealth of engineering knowledge and experience is why and how Hone-All have been able to diversify into a top-quality supplier of high precision, tubular components.

His passion, energy and enthusiasm for the industry is boundless and he loves nothing better than solving engineering problems which others may think impossible at first glance.

He has a very hands-on, practical, approach and loves getting involved in production and engineering – both at work and at home.


Victoria McClatchie

Operations Manager

Victoria has progressed through the business and between her and Scott, they manage all operations and production needs on the shop floor including internal and external communications.

A whizz at Excel, she has transformed how we manage and monitor our KPI’s and business data and nothing is ever too much trouble for her – apart from having her photo taken as you can tell!



Production Manager

Scott has recently joined the business as our Production Manager. A multi-skilled engineer with many years’ experience of machining, training, driving production and business improvements, he brings valuable expertise (and boundless energy!) to our Senior Leadership Team. He has many ambitions for the business, and we look forward to supporting him with these.



Mike Aslett

Quality Manager

Mike has been with the business for over 5 years and during that time has successfully upgraded our Quality systems to the latest revisions, improved our Quality conformance and expanded upon our robust quality processes. He is responsible for all quality documentation, audits, and customer QA requirements.

Sarah, Terry & Ted are our dynamic Sales Team and are constantly communicating with our customers to ensure that we are not only quoting what they want, but also what they need.

We take our commitment to ensuring the customer is supplied with the best and most efficient processes to achieve their overall quality and cost requirements, not just the process they have asked us to complete.

Adam joined the business as our Contract Review Manager and has loved getting involved with supporting production and driving improvements in feasibility and tooling management.

Jen has been with the business for almost 10 years and has progressed through the business and enjoyed moving into Production Support building on her prior skills and experience.


Lisa Mills

HR & H&S Manager

Lisa has been with the business for over 20 years and has progressed through the business and is now responsible for our Health & Safety and HR compliance. She has successfully completed a number of audits and HSE visits who have congratulated her for our robust systems and immaculate documentation.


Karen Crossan


Karen is in charge of all accounts functions within the business and does an excellent job of ensuring accuracy and compliance in all aspects of our purchasing and sales documentation.
